Because it is summer and I am going on an insanely long car journey, I must have books. Well, regardless of when it is or what I am doing, I MUST have BOOKS, but these are the fun summer-y reads I am bringing along. One for Andrew, too. The kids will have Curious George and car toys, of course!
These are what I have landed upon, as of today. My husband thinks it is too many for two weeks. I am always nervous that for some reason, it won't be enough...

This list is not set in stone and is likely to change before we actually leave. If so, my goodreads profile will reflect the change. Is anyone really that interested that they will want to know if I changed my mind about what books I bring on my trip?
I want to know because I am looking for some good summer books to read!!!!! Any other suggestions???
ReplyDeleteOh, and don't worry about the qty... I have the same feeling whenever I leave. When I was little I used to have this 70's suitcase that I used to pack with like 20 books when we were going on vacation. I LOVED that feeling of whatever I wanted to read I would have right at my fingertips.
ReplyDeleteYou know I want to know! "Scarlett" is a great read to bring along on your journey (and the person who lent it to you is SUCH an amazing friend! ha!).

Andrew is only bringing one?? For shame!
This cracks me up, because I can so well relate! Chris and I are headed to the Cape for just four days, and I have on reserve at the library three books...plus the one I am only half way through at this moment =)
